This falls somewhere in between too much time on your hands and extremely cool.  You don't often hear of people modifying their personal vehicles into limo-style cars, but this gentleman apparently needed the space for a large family. This vehicle is a Prius with an added rear door in the middle to give an extra row of seats.  Maybe the next project is his boat....

 

For when you absolutely, positively, have to get there in style and destroy everything in site on your way - the Tank Limo.  Amazingly, these gentle giants are over in the UK.  This seems like an American invention through and through.  Prices start at around $3,300 per night and go up to $8,000.  Their site states that they are in the process of adding neon lighting underneath and a hot tub.  

Tanks turned into rolling pleasure dens.  Peace at its finest!

For the most part, we tend to see a similar pattern in the types of business that we bring in.  Business travelers, people looking for a night out, and deliveries. Every now and then we get an interesting story to pass on, though.

We helped a lovely lady who was in town to give a seminar.  While most come into town for conferences with the state government or a major employer like Dell, she was visiting to teach Belly Dancing!  Not only that, but her event was full at a large hotel conference room in Round Rock.  Apparently there are those that learn the craft as a profession as well as those who use it as an exercise routine.  Who knew?

We also had an occasion where two best friends were heading out of the country together and needed to catch an international flight.  However, a few minutes down the road and one of them realized she had left their passports and tickets back in the house.  Once there, she also realized that the key was locked in the house!  She figured she wouldn't need it since her husband would be picking them upon their return.  Time was critical as they had a flight to catch.  After speaking with her husband on the phone, they asked our driver to help them enter the house by any means necessary.  A 9 iron on the back porch turned into the new 'key' as it broke open a window for entry.   Luckily, they made it on time.
